It's a pretty good show, the most bothersome thing is how at the end of every episode they have to make excuses for the Canadian justice system - "he will likely never be paroled". Not saying it's much better anywhere else - and it's not the show's fault but it is infuriating to get to the end of some brutal tale of a maniac raping and killing without remorse - taunting the police - and then to hear "life with no possibility for parole for 25 years". Apparently that is the maximum sentence? If you ask me - with the overwhelming physical evidence they had on some of these monsters - just take them behind the courthouse after the verdict and put a bullet in their brain. I cannot believe that they force the terrified public to have to keep coming to these parole hearings decades later just to keep them locked up.
