This is one of the best compilations of the work of Dave Lee (Joey Negro), showcasing many of his best remixes and productions from around the time of the century. Most everything is aggressive and upfront by his standards and the songs mix perfectly together. It was after this point that he seemed to start doing a lot more material that could be described as commercial or progressive house. There are some very commercial songs on this CD but it still retains the timeless underground spirit of the earlier Joey Negro releases that had happened up to this point. Some songs on here such as "Skate Dancer" and his remix of "Wishing You Were Here" are absolutely unforgettable gems.Then this is another one that you will have to hide away until you have listened to it. No one knows disco better than Joey Negro or how to present it to a 21st century audience.Disco for a modern age, and my word is it good.Stunningly crafted with some of the most excellent tunes (all produced by Mr Negro incidentally), one cannot fail to be touched by the music.Most highly recommended!
