This book was a great example of classic detection. The author told the story from the perspective of the murderer--a POV that was decidedly unusual for the time--and brought his detective in at the end of the story to wrap things up. Also does a good job exploring how guilt eats at a person. Enjoyable, fast read for fans of classic mysteries.
